The Nigerian scam

October 18, 2006 at 1:27 pm (Craps, GY 白 TULAN)

Two days ago, a Nigerian customer walked in. He ordered roughly USD 38k worth of alloy wheels from me. Now naturally, I’m happy that I got my “first” sale here, but after going through the paper work and exchanging a few phone calls with the dude, I’m highly suspecting some sort of scam here.

Imagine him telling me, “You send me the invoice… but don’t show anyone my name card”.

Sounds like scam material to me.

But for the record – I havn’t been scammed by that Nigerian dude just yet. I want him to know that I’m quite sharp, so before you try anything funny… Hohoho…
