The last few weeks of 2007 have not been productive.  I’ve either spent my nights stoned, drunk or both. I’ve forsaken my work, and I’ve fucked up a couple of relationships with some friends. I crashed my car, and I’ve been broke.

Not a nice way to end my year, and it definitely isn’t going to be easy to pull my self out of this hole I’ve dug.

My first resolution of the year is to cut down on my boozing. I know I’ve said this many times before, and not done anything about it. However, this time I’m serious. Being found half dead, in a half trashed car that stinks of booze with no money in your wallet is a nice experience. Making a fool out of myself in front of people who are dear to me is simply embarrassing. However difficult it is, I’m going to make this happen. So there you go.

My second resolution of the year is to stop putting off my side projects. I’ve had tons of shit lined up for 2007 but I never actually got down to doing them. If even one out of the many were executed, I might be living a little bit more comfortably now. I’m pretty sure of it. I’d be a hell of a lot more busier, but not being broke is inspiration enough for me to get going.

I got a couple more to add to the list, but right now, I’ve got to start working on my shit. I’ve put it off for too long now, and it’s turning around to bite me in the ass.

Fuck this.

It’s going to be a tough year – that much is for sure.

Hopefully, with enough grit and determination, I can mend the wrongs and push it back to the way it should be.
